    EnderPearls:
Currently at spawn you can buy ender pearls for 384 shards a stack. Personally I feel like this number is way to high for something that can be used up in one battle. Another option around the pearl cost at spawn is to actually go farm them in the end. I went there with a looting 3 non fire res sword to not lose any pearls and was only able to come up to 3 and a half stacks of pearls in 40 minutes of grinding constantly. I feel like the drop chance for endermen needs to be increased or a reduction of pearl costs at spawn.

    Ghasts:
With battles being more strategic and more fights happening gunpowder is a key element to making various kinds of splash pots. Simply put the current ghasts spawn rates are very very low which makes it harder for alliances without the neutral mob or 50% chance drop to get the supplies needed to fund a constant 30day war which loka is about. While it was discussed in the past that ghast spawn rates would be looked at so far nothing has been done to an important supply of gunpowder.

Please add input if you have any!

This is definitely a problem- I too have spent large amounts of time killing countless endermen (with no fire and looting III) and only receiving around 1-3 pearls per every 10 or so endermen killed. I remember the drops being very reasonable about 6 or 7 months ago and I'm not sure why or when these drop rates changed?

Ghasts, used to be abundant in the nether - they were a good source of farming gunpowder for conquest fights. Their spawn rate was relatively high which allowed for one person to gain a fair amount of gunpowder and tears in under an hour. Now, when I go to the nether, I rarely even see 1.
Killing creepers and relying on industries for gunpowder, an extremely high demand and highly utilised item, is simply unsustainable for smaller towns without buffs and huge stocks. This can seriously impact the ability of newer players and newer towns to thrive.
Looking at the statistics from eb and the last relativity large fight (https://eldritchbot.com/fight?id=HkdxLfxz4) - each side used around 600 potions (Note: this less than half of what was seen on some of the Balak fights of 2018). Assuming around 80% of the potions used were splash - we can see that around 160 gunpowder was used from each side to create their potions. However, this was of course a reins fight so not all the gp would have been funded by one town- but I hope you get the concept.
The spawn rates of ghasts are just too low, I cant even gauge the magnitude of the drop rate due to the fact not enough have spawned for me to kill!
As for other nether mobs, blaze and magma slimes, they also have relatively low drop rates compared to what I have previously experienced. The average player, in my experience, can expect to obtain roughly 20-30 blaze rods per 'lap' of the Dredfort. This is fine, but they take too long to re-spawn, In my opinion.
Seeing as blaze is now a fuel as well as an ingredient, I would like to see spawn rates improving for blazes - as I feel the current drop rate is fair.
Magma slime for fire resistance is still used by a large proportion of the server who maybe don't like/haven't yet obtained a firestone. And Granted, it can be crafted - but again, one needs blaze powder to craft it which loops back to the spawn rate of blazes.

As far as Ghasts are concerned, looks like there was a bug that was preventing them from really spawning like we want them to, so we should be able to push a fix for that today.

You may have been receiving these drops during the time where Elysian Pact owned the 2x drops buff. This Balak perk has also been nerfed since, now only providing a 50% chance for mobs to drop double their loot.

I'm glad you replied on the 50% mob drop chance now. Yes it was a needed reduction from when there was 2x drops but the tile itself still provides a very significant advantage over those without it. As someone myself that has farmed the 2x, 50% chance, and no buff at all I can tell you that it does get straining and hard for newer and losing alliances to get the mats they need especially when there are many other aspects of conquest one must prepare for.

Really I think large alliance rely too heavily on the few people who grind. If you're having issues with materials then it's time to start asking other alliance members to pull their weight.

I agree with this. I myself have actually been able to get about 9 stacks of pearls an hour. This seems slow but remember that it's just me farming. If everyone grinds you can get 9 stacks per player. (The enderman spawn rate isn't really an issue because there are only 2 mobs in the end. The shulkers spawn in the end cities making areas away from there highly populated.)

However. Ghasts do need to be fixed as well as I think blazes should spawn more outside the dread fort. Personally even with double mob drops farming blazes is still a pain because they're buffed in the dread fort and only drop 1-2 per kill (dependent an the before mentioned double loot).

Are pearls not available in the dungeon industry anymore?

They're still outputted at the same rates as they've always been.

In that case, just find trade partners! Cities that don't send fighters have pretty minimal use for them.

Cities that "don't have fighters" are highly unlikely to control the land that is needed to output an amount of materials that is.more than negligible.

For large alliances fine, though I would never want to grind with the normal pearl drop rate as it's atrocious. Even with double drops for the short amount of time we had it, there were times where I went about 5-10 minutes of constant killing without getting a single pearl!
Now factor that into three scenarios.
One being that the players are new to the server. If I was new and came to the end to farm some pearls I don't know if I'd want to partake in conquest or even play on the server if I was getting these drop rates.
Two being a small town wishing to partake in conquest while using less materials, they still uses the materials and it takes a long time to gather them. When you have more people it's easier because there are more endermen getting killed in the same amount. RandomGuyPaul has a 3 man town, and goes and grinds pearls for an hour. Let's say they collected 1 stack of pearls in that hour. Later on RandomGuyJake and 6 others from his town go to the end to grind also for 1 hour, the same amount of time RandomGuyPaul went for. RandomGuyJake could get around 2 stacks of pearls. Alright class, who got more pearls in 1 hour? RandomGuyPaul or RandomGuyJake?
The third scenario is simply a blend of the two listed above, a new 3 player town which is arguably the most common.

Realistically, with being able to gather a stack diamond blocks at Ascalon in one RI trips purchasing enderpearls really isn't a massive cost at all.

This being said, the enderpearl buff on rivina used to be very easy to take advantage of. Athenaeum had an alliance with another town and that town eventually become inactive. However, Rivinia perks used to affect all towns within the alliance so for a town that didn't fight we were easily getting excess pearls and other goodies

I've reached out to numerous people about buying, so far only Rikard_Renata could spare 24 pearls for me.

This was well said as it highlights the fact that it takes a substantial amount of time to grind for pearls. In my mind I DO NOT see any new towns participating in conquest with the current drop rates.

In case anyone is wondering, the math on this works out to 18 stacks of pearls.
